The Showdown Throwdown Hoedown is back for it’s 8th year and is bigger than ever! This year we’ve teamed up with BC Freestyle Ski Association as well as BC Snowboard Association to bring you a fully sanctioned event. That’s right competitors will not only be competing for cash and great prizes but they will also be earning points in the world rankings Open pro and Open Amateur - Ski and Snowboard Categories. Cash for Open – Swag for Am.

There some great things we haven’t changed. Great music, great giveaways, hot food, cold beer and the best view in the NEW Rockstar Park.

PRE-REGISTER:
 
Participants may pre-register online by click on the link below.
 
Helmets are MANDATORY for this event.
 
Registration payment MUST be made in the NATC during the designated hours of registration listed below. Competitors under the age of 19 MUST have a parent or guardian sign their special events waiver for them, the parent or guardian MUST BE PRESENT at time of registration to sign the waiver.
 

REGISTRATION SCHEDULE IN THE NATC:

  • Thursday March 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
  • Friday March 29, from 8:00 to 10:00 am
  • Saturday March 30, from 8:00 to 9:00 am

OFFICIAL TRAINING TIME:

  • Friday March 29, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Course & park will re-open to general public starting 1:00 pm

SATURDAY - MARCH 30

  • 8:45-9:30 Training: Women Ski, Women & Men Snowboard
  • 9:30-10:30 Qualifier: Women Ski, Women & Men Snowboard. 1 Run
  • 10:30 -10:45 Course Maintenance/ Athlete meeting top of ROCKSTAR PARK
  • 10:45 -11:45 Pro & Amateur Training
  • 11:45 Men Ski Amateur - Heat 1
  • 1:15 Men Ski Amateur - Heat 2
  • 2:30 Men Ski Pro

SUNDAY - MARCH 31

  • 8:45-9:30 Training: Women Ski, Women & Men Snowboard
  • 9:30-11:00 Women Ski, Women & Male Snowboard - 2 Run final
  • 11:00-11:15 Course Maintenance
  • 11:15-12:00 Male Ski Pro & Amateur Training
  • 12:00 Male Ski Amateur Final - 2 Run Final (Top 20 skiers)
  • 1:00 Male Ski Pro Final - 2 Run Final (Top 16 Skiers)
EVENT FEES:
 
Pro/Open Category - $100
Amateur Category - $60
 

MEMBERSHIP:

Everyone is welcome to attend this event however a Can Freestyle 3 or 4 license is required for Skiers and a BC Snowboard membership is required for snowboarders.
