Each year, early in November, 105 km of trails at Silver Star and Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre come alive with nordic enthusiasts from around the world. Our trails are guaranteed to keep even the most avid nordic skier occupied for the whole season.

Silver Star has been dubbed as the best early snow destination anywhere. With consistent early snow, meticulous grooming, excellent facilities, and ski in ski out accommodation, it’s no wonder the Canadian and USA National Cross Country and Biathlon Teams have selected Silver Star as their early season training centre.
