I know the mountain bike season is over and everyone is waxing their skis and snowboards in anticipation of the upcoming season, but I thought you might be interested in this wicked event.

The North Okanagan Cycling Society is hosting a great double-bill of entertainment on Friday October 23 at the Vernon Recreation Centre. They will be premiering New World Disorder 10 - Dust & Bones at 6:30 p.m., followed by Vernon's best band, Redfish.

This event is a fundraiser to help the NOCS work on trails and keep them open for you, the rider. Tickets are available at Olympia Cycle, Skyride Cycle and Sun Country Cycle.

NWD 10 - Dust & Bones
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. showing of NWD 10 - Dust & Bones. Dust & Bones is the final chapter in the epic saga known as New World Disorder.
Tickets: $10 adults, $8 students/seniors, kids six and under free!

Redfish
After the movie - put the kids to bed and return for a a full helping of Redfish. Kick up your heels, cozy up to the bar and delight in the sounds of rock with an edge.
Tickets are $15 for adults - sorry no minors
